Babungo is the gateway into the Ndawara tea estate. The people are mostly craft men and farmers. This Baptist owned hospital has been a relief for most people for primary healthcare. With no electricity, it was challenging to live up to its mission. The Kume family donated a solar electricity system to the hospital. Now there will always be light at night for patient care with 17 lighting points, electrical power to charge cell phones and small electrical equipment. All of this with no running fuel generator, no noise, no fumes and best, no electrical bills attached.
