This hospital, managed by a religious congregation of catholic sisters have been involved in many health campaign in the region especially on high blood pressure, diabetes. With systematic power shortage (sometimes going weeks without electricity), its mission could not be fulfilled properly especially at night. Lekié USA, A non-profit organization of Cameroon Diaspora in the USA, noticed and took action by donating a solar electric system for the hospital. With 16 lighting points in various rooms and areas of the hospital and the ability to connect small electrical equipment. Today the hospital can receive patients and provide primary care.
